Over the past few weeks we've been hearing reports of slow page load
times, particularly when a requested page includes thumbnails that need
to be displayed. Getting to the bottom of this issue required quite a
bit of debugging, however, we're reasonably confident that we have our
finger on it. Although the technical aspects are bit mind numbing for
those lacking intimate knowledge of large storage networks... While this
post serves as just an update, we will of course post a follow-up as
soon as we have the door sealed shut on this issue or if we run into
some unforeseen hurdles in implementing this fix. Our ball-park estimate
on eliminating this issue is a week from today.
