System Status Update 05/04/2009 Uncle JesseMon, 04 May 2009 16:16:17 -0700
The http://www.easynews.com/howmuch.phtml page currently indicates a
decoder and autounrar backlog.

As we blew through the previous autounrar backlog, a file limitation
was mistakenly put in place to only autounrar files 2GB or smaller. We
are re-adding the files that are larger than 2GB back into the
autounrar process. These much larger files take longer to autounrar
as compared to the ones that are smaller than 2GB. These large
autounrars and the new incoming files have contributed to the backlog
that is reported. The good news is that we are autounraring faster
than we are getting new files at this point.

The yDecoder backlog is being investigated as the weekend traffic
caused this as well. Since we do not have 100% of our new hardware
online yet, we did expect some weekend issues, but the decoder backlog
was a bit larger than anticipated. We will continue to investigate
and work toward the next phase of new hardware implementation.
