So far we have seen few issues with the move to production with our
beta NNTP servers. It was relatively seemless. We do see some
reports of connectivity and speed related questions. Those who have
speed related issues or connectivity issues, the more details that can
be provided will help us assist you more effectively. If you can
provide the ports and addresses you've tried to connect to, a trace
route from you to us and any error logs, this will help us investigate
the issue with more detail. You can send this info to
support@easynews.com.
We are currently investigating reports of missing rars in par viewer
links starting on 04/05/2009. This appears to be in correlation to
our yDecoder backlog that grew over the weekend. We've had several
examples provided from customers (thank you) and we'll be able to
update everyone as soon as a few things are looked into.
We're hoping to have the AppStatus page live and current very soon.
I'll have an announcement posted when it's official and the data on
the page is not "dummy" data.
We are also investigating the reports of customers not being able to
download from the zip manager. The reports are helping us try to pin
point whether it's an overloaded server or other issue. The more
concrete examples, the more we can further investigate. If you're
having problems contact support@easynews.com and we can work with you
and research the issue further.
We are in the middle of configuring new equipment and shipments are
due to arrive daily this week and we'll be working on the installation
and configuring of these servers into next week.
