As announced earlier, we are rolling back retention to 175 days for
Plus/Big Gig in order to make room for the influx of autounrars that
will be appearing.  In doing so, we will be able to balance the load
on the servers and hopefully avoid the connection, download speed and
other issues attributed to the high peak time volume encountered on
weekends.  Keep in mind that if you have queued files in your Zip
Manager from 176 days or older, you will get errors when attempting to
download these files and may experience some delays in connecting to
the Zip Manager as they will no longer be available.  As the new
equipment is installed and goes online, retention will be brought back
up.

We are still investigating the issues with the Older Style indexes not
updating since Tuesday.   In the meantime, a solid work around is to
use the current, official indexes....the Full Indexes.  I know some
are hesitant to change, but you will find these to be working
properly, more powerful and more customizable.  For those who want the
look and feel of the Older Style Indexes, you can set your preferences
for the Full Indexes to rearrange the layout and feel.  I have

Autounrars are still plugging away and appearing on the web.  These
autounrars are from the backlog stemming from the file server outage
at the beginning of March.  The new autounrar list is almost done
being compiled and we will add this list to the process when it's

The issue with missing headers on the EU NNTP servers has been
resolved.  If you notice a group still exhibiting this behavior,
please let us know and we'll investigate.  The random sampling of
groups has shown this issue to be resolved.
